Moving to New Premises
When you move premises, you are NOT in any agreement & therefore have the right to choose who your new supplier will be. If you do not agree to a new contract with a new supplier, you'll automatically be put onto an 'Out of Contract' or 'Deemed Rate' will cost you 40-60% more than it should, an expensive mistake!
1. Can I secure a contract prior to moving in?
Yes, in fact it is your best interests to do so, as it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for your energy to be switched to a new supplier. This will ensure you do not pay expensive out of contract rates.
2. Take a metre reading the day you move in.
